The Standard Span Shade System can be used to build Span Shade structures up to 60sm. Elbows link legs to rafters giving rigidity and shape to the structure.

Building a Standard Span Shade Structure is straightforward as fittings, angles and tube size are constant. Elbows fit into specified post sizes only. A Standard Elbow fits into a 76mmOD x 2.3mm leg and rafter. Wall thickness must be 2.3mm extra light.

OD refers to Outside Diameter. CHS refers to Circular Hollow Section steel tube. Lifting equipment is generally required to assemble Span Shade Structures.

Engineering is available for all structures. Online and phone advice is available for new users of Span Shade Systems.
